1.How do I tune violin correctly.?
2.Is there seperate violin available for kids of age 7?
1. In Indian Classical music you tune according to the pitch selected
For eg if the pitch selected is E then the violin is tuned as E B E B which translates as S P S P from left to right.
2. There are violins available in 4 sizes 1/4 1/2 3/4 and 4/4
Picking the appropriate size has more to do with the physical size of the student than the age . Many students are tall enough at 7 and 8 years to play a full size violin. Very early beginners day at 4 and 5 years start at 1/2 size and progress up . Typically a 9 to 10 year old should be able to play a full size . So to answer your question a 7 year old should try a 3/4 size
